About This Wiki
What this site is, how we label facts we cannot confirm, how we treat AI-generated dialogue, how we handle your data, and the rules of use, all on one page.
Who we are
Scam With Your Friends Wiki is an independent, fan-made wiki covering SCAM WITH YOUR FRIENDS, the AI-driven co-op scam-call-center game developed by JakeHub and Metater and published by Jatater Worldwide, planned for Early Access in October 2026 on Windows via Steam. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the developer or the publisher.
What we do
We collect information from official sources (the Steam store page and its API, the official site, the playtest listing, and videos verified against their real YouTube title, channel and upload date), then rewrite and organize it into plain-English pages. Every page carries a fact-check date, a status badge and a sources list.
A note on sources
This game is still in Early Access planning, and a large share of what people want to know has no official answer yet: the exact release day, the price, the player cap, recommended specs and crossplay are all unannounced. We say so rather than filling the gap. Where a detail comes from community hands-on recordings instead of an official page, the page says so explicitly. The distinction between "on an official page" and "seen in a playthrough" is never blurred.
About the subject matter
The game is a comedy co-op title in which you play a call-center scammer working against AI-generated callers. Everything in it is fictional. This wiki describes the game's systems and does not teach, link to or describe any real scam method, and it never links to key sellers, cracks or pirated copies.
Corrections
Spotted something wrong? Tracking pages (release date, price, playtest, languages) are re-checked regularly. Corrections are applied with a new fact-check date.
Three labels, used literally
Every fact on this site carries one of three labels. This is not decoration, it is the whole editorial method.
- Official sources: published by the developer or publisher on the Steam page, the official site or an official channel. Safe to rely on.
- Partially confirmed: confirmed in part, for example a month instead of a day, or seen in community hands-on footage but not stated officially. We state exactly what is known and flag the gap.
- Pending confirmation: the developer has not announced it. We say so plainly and explain what would change the answer.
What we refuse to do
- We do not invent a release day. The official window is October 2026; every specific date circulating online is traced, labelled and dated, never repeated as fact.
- We do not turn in-game money into a price. Figures like $100, $150, $250 or $5,500 appear in the game's own dialogue and shop interface. They have nothing to do with what the game costs, and the game's price is unannounced.
- We do not confuse the $8 playtest add-on with the game. That add-on bought unmetered AI during the playtest only; unmetered AI ships with the full game.
- We do not announce platforms. Only Windows on Steam has been announced. Mac, Linux, consoles, Steam Deck, Roblox and mobile versions have not, and pages that claim otherwise are wrong.
- We do not present community recordings as developer statements. Mechanics visible only in hands-on footage, such as the daily scam rotation and the end-of-day rating, are labelled as community-sourced on every page that uses them.
- We do not teach, describe or link to any real scam method, and we never link to key sellers, cracks or pirated copies.
How to read a caveat box
Pages where a claim is genuinely uncertain carry a Read this first box immediately below the summary. On this wiki that is most pages: it is the fastest way to know which parts are solid and which are waiting on the developer.
