The Scam With Your Friends release date is a month, not a day. The store's own data for the game lists one timing statement: an Early Access release in October 2026 on Steam. No exact day has been published, and no other date comes from the developer.
What is officially confirmed
Two things, both from the store listing itself:
- The game is coming soon, with a release window of October 2026.
- It is an Early Access release. That word is part of the store listing, not a rumour, and it changes what launch day will actually mean. We cover that separately on the Early Access page.
That is the complete list. There is no day, no hour and no regional breakdown, because the developer has not published any of those.
Why the day is not announced yet
The game is going out as Early Access, and Early Access pages typically carry a month-level window while the remaining work is being sized. Two other basics are unannounced at the same time, which fits that stage of a release: the price and the recommended PC specs. A studio that has not finalized either usually has not locked a calendar day either.
Dates that circulated online (none are official)
Aggregator and reseller sites list several exact dates, and they contradict each other:

None of these values comes from the developer or from the store page, and two of them contradict each other outright, so treat all of them as unconfirmed. This page keeps the list visible on purpose: a date that silently appears and disappears on third-party sites is exactly how wrong release dates spread.

The wishlist jump from 10,000 to 100,000 in under two weeks is the clearest sign of how fast interest in this game grew. The playtest filled up in the same window.
How you will know the date is real
A real release day will show up in two places at once: the store listing's release date field, and a news post from the developer or publisher on the store's own news hub. Anything else, including countdown timers on reseller pages and screenshots of dates circulating on social media, is not an announcement.
